Tomasz “Tomek” Dow is an associate attorney at Great Lakes Family Probate & Estates. Tomek's professional focus is on providing pragmatic, comprehensive, cost effective, and solution oriented legal advice to individuals and their businesses. He takes pride in representing his clients with a thoughtful and detailed approach.
Tomek's practice focuses on the areas of business law and commercial litigation, real estate matters, and tax and estate planning. Tomek believes in getting to know his clients and their needs before developing strategies to accomplish his client's goals. He has advised clients regarding entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, employment law, intellectual property issues, regulatory compliance, leases, and commercial disputes. He has successfully litigated numerous contracts, torts, and real estate disputes in State and Federal Court.
Tomek graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009 and Wayne State University Law School in 2014. Prior to joining Great Lakes Family Probate & Estates, Tomek worked as an associate attorney at a preeminent Oakland County law firm where he advised individuals, businesses, fringe benefit funds, and local governments.
Outside of the practice of law, Tomek enjoys hiking and camping. He is also an avid cyclist; you can often find him on the Lansing River Trail or on group rides throughout Michigan. Tomek and his wife, currently a veterinary medicine student, share a love of animals and have two cats and a 95 lbs. German Shepherd Dog at home.
